we managed to buy meds, and make friends and find some spiritual peace despite the global upheaval over American politics! Find today's blog at: https://vetsabroad.wordpress.com/november-9th-medications-and-boudhanath/
Adventures and awakenings... Today's blog is brought to you by the letters A for Akbash (a large white herding dog), B for barometric (since the altitude change has caused fingers to swell like sausages) and "bloody hell" which Gin screamed as she broke her toe stubbing it on the immoveable bed today, and C for Kazakstan (which is actually spelt with a "K" however in our sleep-drunk state seems absolutely hilarious)....
So a huge thank you to everyone who attended either our Bowling Night in Winnipeg or our Information Night in Saskatoon - we really appreciate all of your support! We also appreciate all of those people who constantly send us warm thoughts and prayers, and little messages to keep us motivated to do what we do. It isn't always easy, and sometimes is completely disheartening. But then you run across something like this short video and it puts it all in perspective. http://www.youtube.com/embed/LPjzfGChGlE So thank you for helping us help others.
Today is Giving Tuesday... and we'd like to thank everyone who sponsored this year's trip, and who continue to support us in all kinds of ways. If you are looking for a charity to donate to - please think of us.
